Il meglio del 2016 Secondo Paolo Peviani

Dal punto di vista discografico, quella del 2016 è stata un'annata molto ricca. Nessun picco straordinario ma tanti buoni, ottimi dischi, da ascoltare e riascoltare con attenzione. Dal mio piccolo e per forza di cose parziale osservatorio, ho avuto l'impressione che i grandi nomi del jazz -al netto di qualche eccezione -non abbiano prodotto grandi cose. Nella mia playlist hanno dunque trovato ampio spazio anche musicisti non particolarmente famosi che, alla luce di quanto pubblicato, considero meritevoli di maggiore visibilità.

Per quanto riguarda i live, mi sembra che l'infelice situazione economica italiana abbia influito pesantemente sulla quantità e qualità dei concerti proposti. Alcune manifestazioni hanno ridotto la loro programmazione, altre hanno abbassato il tiro, altre ancora hanno preferito puntare su nomi di sicuro richiamo. Ciò nonostante, nel corso dell'anno ho avuto la fortuna di assistere a concerti davvero folgoranti, che ci hanno confermato la grande vitalità di questa musica meravigliosa.
