As always, we're celebrating Thanksgiving by recognizing two special groups of people: our benefactors, who helped make much of the 2025 website improvements possible, and our staff, who contribute and edit articles throughout the year. Both contributions are immeasurable, and we thank you all for your generosity, passion, creativity, and friendship. A daily commitment since 1995

At All About Jazz and Jazz Near You, we celebrate jazz every day—and have done so for 30 years running. We publish new content seven days a week, including articles, album reviews, radio shows & podcasts, news announcements, birthdays, music, photos, musician pages, and we host the most active jazz events calendar on the web.

With an international team of volunteers and a modest but scrappy technical crew, we work continuously to improve every facet of All About Jazz and Jazz Near You. You can track our progress here.

We listen and we learn

Suggestions from readers like you have helped shape our direction—nowhere more than in our musician database, which now hosts nearly 154,000 profiles. Our mission is to understand the needs of performing and recording artists and develop tools and solutions that support their careers. Over the years, these efforts have helped musicians secure gigs, plan tours, get reviewed, sell music, find students, and, in many cases, get discovered.

After 30 meaningful years, we plan to continue supporting the music we love through ongoing improvements to the All About Jazz platform.
