What began in 1995 as a simple idea—to connect people with jazz—has grown into something much larger.

Today, All About Jazz and Jazz Near You connect listeners with musicians, recordings, stories, live events, venues, radio and podcasts, photos, videos and more. We've spent more than three decades building tools that make jazz easier to discover while preserving an extraordinary archive of the music and the people who make it.

And we're still building.

Your support helps us maintain and improve All About Jazz and Jazz Near You, preserve and expand our archive, develop new discovery and community tools, strengthen the connections between musicians, listeners and jazz professionals, and keep both platforms independent and accessible.

A contribution of $20 or more also gives you an ad-free All About Jazz experience and early access to scheduled articles, as well as access to our jazz venue finder for a full year.

But the larger benefit is what your contribution helps make possible.

Thousands of writers, photographers, musicians, venue operators, presenters, broadcasters and readers have helped build All About Jazz over the years. That participation has allowed us to create something no single publication, database or commercial platform could provide on its own: an interconnected resource built around jazz and the people who sustain it.

If All About Jazz or Jazz Near You has introduced you to a musician, helped you discover an album, led you to a live performance, taught you something about the music, or simply made jazz a little easier to find and enjoy, please consider supporting our work.

Your contribution helps us continue building what's next.
