Il 2025 sarà ricordato da addetti ai lavori e jazzofili per l'altissima qualità e la notevole varietà delle proposte discografiche, animate da forze policentriche e da musiche non sempre direttamente jazzistiche, ma accomunate a questa estetica da spirito, tecniche e soluzioni formali.

Questa mia selezione, presentata in ordine di preferenza, testimonia anche lo straordinario livello raggiunto dal jazz italiano, che da alcuni decenni si è guadagnato spazi, attenzione e visibilità da parte di istituzioni e festival, non solo a livello nazionale.
