Questi i migliori dischi dell'anno? Risposta complicata perché nonostante la massa imponente di musica, fruibile in tutte le forme e in tutti modi possibili, si ha la sensazione che manchi qualcosa (o molto), che siano precluse realtà musicali periferiche rispetto ai normali canali di distribuzione ma importanti dal punto di vista della testimonianza e della valenza artistica.

Eccoli comunque i dodici dischi che per un verso o per l'altro hanno segnato gli ascolti di un 2016 ricco di proposte di alto livello, tra conferme, giovani emergenti e qualche piacevole sorpresa.
