Il Meglio del 2017 secondo Mario Calvitti

Premessa doverosa: la lista che segue non ha la pretesa di rappresentare il meglio dell'anno in termini assoluti (al giorno d'oggi chi è che ha la possibilità di seguire tutto quello che viene pubblicato?), né di voler definire una sorta di riassunto dell'anno appena trascorso, ma più semplicemente riflett quello che ho maggiormente apprezzato nell'ambito di quanto ho avuto modo di ascoltare nel corso del 2017, e che sicuramente continuerò ad ascoltare nel tempo.

Naturalmente l'elenco è una diretta espressione dei miei gusti personali, molto orientati sulla chitarra nella maggior parte delle sue declinazioni, e non presenta particolari sorprese; vorrei solamente sottolineare il lavoro di un outsider come Ross Hammond, che propone un nuovo splendido album solistico alla chitarra resofonica, dopo quelli altrettanto belli pubblicati negli ultimi due anni da solo o in coppia.
