La lista che ho stilato non segue alcun ordine di preferenza. I dischi sono quindi organizzati in ordine alfabetico, per artista. A mio parere ogni album in questa lista è di grande interesse. Ho deciso di selezionare alcuni album statunitensi, ma ne ho sacrificati molti altri molto meritevoli, e tre album italiani che ritengo meritevoli di maggiore notorietà internazionale.
