Ryan Truesdell: Shades of Sound

In particolare abbiamo quattro brani degli anni quaranta ("Laughing at Life," "It's the Sentimental Thing to Do," "I Had Someone Else Before I Met You," "Buster's Last Stand"), tre classici come "Spoonful," "Barbara Song," "The Ballad of the Sad Young Man" e una partitura sconosciuta degli anni sessanta, "Neetie's Blues."

Segue "The Ballad of the Sad Young Man" da Great Jazz Standards che ripropone l'incantevole arrangiamento impressionista dell'originale e un lirico intervento di Ryan Keberle al trombone (riecheggiante Jimmy Cleveland).
