Un grande concept-album con un approccio sonoro davvero speciale.
02. Bill Evans - From Left to Right (Verve - 1969/70).
Un disco particolarmente dolce e romantico con pianoforte e Fender Rhodes. Mi piace molto.
03. Tortoise - Standards (Thrill Jockey - 2000).
Una delle band di rock alternativo che preferisco. Grande produzione, struttura delle canzoni e suono fantastici.
04. Joey Baron - RAIsed Pleasure Dots (New World Records - 1994).
Il miglior album di questa band. Suono speciale, grande esecuzione, molto divertente. Persino mia figlia di 4 anni lo adora.
05. Charlie Parker - Charlie Parker with Strings (Verve - 1953).
Una delle migliori esecuzioni di Parker. Molto romantico e fresco allo stesso tempo.
06. Radiohead - Kid A (Capitol -2000).
Un capolavoro di progressive rock. Meravigliosa produzione con un suono analogico grasso e morbido.
07. Miles Davis - Miles Ahead (Columbia - 1957).
Uno dei dischi di Miles che preferisco, adoro il modo di arrangiare di Gil Evans ed il suono complessivo.
08. Hermeto Pascoal - So Nao toca quem nao quer (Intuition - 1987).
Un vero genio della musica brasiliana, in uno dei suoi migliori dischi.
09. John Coltrane - Coltrane plays the Blues (Prestige - 1957/58).
Amo Coltrane!
10) Keith Jarrett - Expectations (Columbia - 1971).
Il famoso quartetto di Keith Jarrett nel loro primo e, per il mio gusto, disco migliore.=
