Prize: VMP Anthology: The Story of Herbie Hancock vinyl box set (grand prize) & select jazz titles (runner up winners)

Eligible Winners: 5

All About Jazz has teamed up with Vinyl Me, Please (VMP) to offer one lucky winner a grand prize of the limited edition VMP Anthology: The Story of Herbie Hancock, which is a box set made up of 8 albums / 11 LPs that tell the story of his legendary career—curated by Herbie Hancock and pressed by VMP. The lacquers were cut from the original masters by Bernie Grundman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and the vinyl was pressed on high-quality 180g black vinyl and housed in heavyweight tip-on jackets. Herbie picked these titles to represent his legendary music career. The box also comes with an exclusive podcast series that features interviews with Herbie himself, along with many of his fellow artists and collaborators, that will guide you over a 4-week listening experience. The four runner-up winners will get to choose any one of the following VMP vinyl records:

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
