About Me

The Jimi Heinrich Orchestra is a music collective that has been improvising together since 1999. Most musicians also have other projects from time to time and on a regular basis.

Naturaly people come and go, but the hard core has been together even longer (about 20 years) - and so our improvisations tend to blend fluidly.

For Jimi, this improvisational side of the music has a deep spiritual aspect to it - and so, every session also is a kind of collective aural meditation.

I love jazz because... it makes me feel # I was first exposed to jazz... in adolescene - it was Biitches Brew and I didn't get it AT ALL at that time. # The best show I ever attended was...
