L’ultimo disco di uno dei miei gruppi preferiti. Fortemente raccomandato. Lo sto ascoltando quasi ogni giorno da quando è uscito.
02. Ali Farka Toure - Savane (Nonesuch - 2006).
Ho scoperto da poco la sua musica e l’ascolto di questo disco mi diverte molto.
03. MF Doom - Mm... Food (Rhymesayers - 2007).
Un artista hip-hop underground che ha prodotto una delle musiche che preferisco degli ultimi anni. Ho la maggior parte dei suoi dischi e questo è il suo ultimo.
04. O Brother Where Art Thou - Colonna sonora (Lost Highway - 2003).
Il disco più recente che ho acquistato... Grande musica da un grande film.
05. Talib Kweli - Eardrum (Warner Bros - 2007).
Un altro grande artista hip-hop. Grande ritmo e grandi testi.
06. Tumba Francesa - Afrocuban Music from the Roots (Soul Jazz Records - 2006).
Musica dalla costa orientale di Cuba, assai diversa dalla musica cubana che la maggior parte della gente conosce. Molto bella e intensa.
07. Cartola - Acontece (EMI - 2006).
Un anziano cantante brasiliano che molti non conoscono. Ho comprato questo disco qualche mese fa in Brasile.
08. Silvio Rodriguez - Triptico 2 (EMI - 2004).
Uno dei miei musicisti preferiti, la sua musica è magia.
09. Alasnoaxis - Dogs of Great Indifderence (Winter & Winter - 2006).
Questa è una band guidata dal batterista Jim Black. E’ in grado di spaziare ovunque, dalle atmosfere rock a quelle free. Grande.
10. Cannonball Adderley - Cannonball’s Bossa Nova (Blue Note - 2000).
In questi giorni sto riascoltando parecchio alcuni lavori di Cannonball. In questo disco è veramente al top della sua arte.
