I 10 CD nel CD-Player di... Enrico Zanisi
Disco molto bello e interessante che vede uno dei miei pianisti preferiti alle prese con un quartetto d'archi (da lui stesso arrangiato) con la sapiente aggiunta di un po' di elettronica in alcuni brani.
02. Claude Debussy -Jeux, Images, Musiques pour Le Roi Lear. City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra diretta da Simon Rattle (Emi -2004).
Una pregevole esecuzione e interpretazione di alcuni dei brani più suggestivi di Debussy. "Images" è la raccolta di composizioni che preferisco, sempre nuova e stimolante ad ogni ascolto.
03. Liquid Tension Experiment -Liquid Tension Experiment (Magna Carta Records -1999).
Un super gruppo progressive metal che sto riascoltando ultimamente dopo aver fatto incetta di questo genere nella mia adolescenza.
04. Steve Coleman and Five Elements -Functional Arrhythmias (Pi Recordings -2013).
Un disco suonato benissimo che necessita di un ascolto approfondito.
05. Chris Lightcap's Bigmouth -Epicenter (Clean Feed-2015).
Un bel disco del bassista Chris Lightcap con una formazione stellare.
06. Christian Wallumrod -PianoKammer (Hubro Music -2015).
Un pianista eccezionale, di cui ho visto un concerto alla Casa del Jazz di Roma con una formazione interessantissima. Qui alle prese con sé stesso in un disco decisamente da assaporare.
07. Glenn Gould -Goldberg Variations (Sony Music -1982).
Questo disco fa sempre parte dei miei ascolti, non posso farne a meno. A mio giudizio la migliore interpretazione di questo capolavoro di J. S. Bach.
08. Cecil Taylor -Live at Town Hall (FreeFactory -1971).
Un piano solo di cinquanta minuti del 1971 di un grande musicista spesso poco ricordato.
09. Dr. John -Gris-Gris (Atco Records -1968).
Disco di un cantautore e musicista a me sconosciuto fino a quando non ho ricevuto questo album dal mio amico Danilo Gallo.
10. Matteo Bortone Travelers -Time Images (Auand -2015).
Disco in ascolto da pochissimo a cura di uno dei migliori e più interessanti musicisti in circolazione. Bellissimo gruppo e bellissima musica.
