Frank Holger Rothkamm è un giovane artista concettuale tedesco (è nato nel 1965 a Gutersloh) che sceglie il media DVD per esplorare alcuni concetti basilari che stanno dietro alla società dello spettacolo e delle immagini.

La "nascita del cinema primario dallo spirito del suono" è un concetto del tutto astratto che si materializza guardando queste riprese immobili, colorate di suoni raccattati da qualche parte.

Dare spiegazioni a questo punto è un esercizio inutile e superfluo. Possiamo semplicemente raccogliere l'invito e fermarci a guardare e ad ascoltare.
