Ryan Keberle & Catharsis: Into the Zone
Melodie sognanti, arrangiamenti invisibili -tutto sembra funzionare in maniera autonoma-ritmo che scivola silenzioso, senza attriti ma perennemente in guardia, la voce che spinge ulteriormente la musica "into the zone," il disco è una camera di decompressione per gli affanni quotidiani, luogo di meditazione e di piacevoli conversazioni.
Tanto che due autori agli antipodi come Charlie Parker e Cole Porter trovano una collocazione tutt'altro che bizzarra nel palinsesto allestito da Keberle, abile nell'esaltare la vena melodica di un brano come "Cheryl" mantenendone la fragranza ritmica e nel rivestire di sapore orchestrale "Easy To Love." Con i nove minuti della title-track a condensare filosofia ed umori del quartetto, avvolti in una nuvola di vapore benefico, coccolati dalla voce di Camila Meza, e la melodica del leader che soffia sui tasti dei ricordi.
