02. Aphex Twin -Syro (Warp-2014).
Strati infiniti di suoni e di idee. E ad ogni ascolto sento cose nuove. Come diavolo riescono a fare tutto ciò?
03. Toumani Diabate with Ballake Sissoko -New Ancient Strings (Hannibal- 1999).
Ritmo perfetto. Fluire perfetto. Perfetto.
04. Los Munequitos de Matanzas -Rumba Caliente 88/77 (Qbadisc-1992).
Il lato B è probabilmente il mio disco di rumba preferito. Dialoghi tra le percussioni, dialoghi tra le voci e qualità della registrazione!
05. Kendrick Lamar -To Pimp a Butterfly (Interscope-2015).
Cosa si può dire che non sia già stato detto? Testi e produzione ispirata, creatività e un nuovo modo di costruire i brani.
06. Miles Davis -Milestones (Columbia-1958).
Perché la maestria di Philly Joe mi stende tutte le volte, e c'è sempre qualcosa di nuovo di cui prima non mi ero accorto.
07. Donny Hathaway -Live (Warner-1972).
Perfetto in tutto e per tutto. Mi viene la pelle d'oca anche dopo milioni di ascolti.
08. Marvin Gaye -Lets Get it On (Tamla Records -1973).
Non c'è un momento di noia in questo disco. E il suono è incredibile! Tutto funziona al meglio, senza alcun intoppo.
09. Yoruba Andabo -El Callejon de los Rumberos (Universal Latino-2003).
Scoppiettante e quasi psichedelico. Ascoltatelo con le cuffie e lasciatevi trasportare.
10. Gnawa Halwa -Rhabaouine (Blanca Li Records-1994).
Ho bisogno di una dose costante di Gnawa music nella mia vita e questa è veramente rilassante. Questo disco è la mia "relaxation music" ormai da molti anni.
