Antonio Jasevoli: Tetris
La scaletta si apre con la title-track, un brano ritmicamente instabile e nervoso, al quale si contrappone la più lineare "Flydian 175," che Jasevoli dedica a una delle sue chitarre storiche. Il leader disegna un ideale percorso che mette insieme posti e persone che si sono rivelate fondamentali durante la sua vita. È il caso delle delicate ballate rivolte alla sua famiglia, "Nina" e "Maramau," o di "Capotesta," che evoca l'omonima terra nel nord della Sardegna, e nella quale emergono le capacità liriche degli interpreti, come quelle di Enrico Zanisi. Il giovane pianista firma con Jasevoli "Distortion", brano dall'andamento ritmico sostenuto e nel quale si intravedono le propensioni della band nel virare con piacere in territori non propriamente jazzistici.
Il lavoro si distingue anche per il diverso approccio di Jasevoli, che alterna sonorità acustiche ed elettriche, riuscendo così ad allargare lo spettro timbrico dei brani fino a realizzare un insieme multiforme e mai fermo su sé stesso.
