Boris Hauf Sextet: Next Delusion
Altrove l'autore sceglie di dare direttive più composte, tenendo sotto controllo le percussioni con precise direttive. I brani si dipanano per percorsi impressionistici e tuttavia ricchi di tensione, in cui nessuno dei musicisti o degli strumenti prevale, in situazioni in cui si richiede l'attenzione dell'ascoltatore per il ricco interagire di suoni che lentamente prende dimensione e forma, dall'aspetto ondulante ma con una meta di arrivo.
Sono situazioni ricche di tensione interna che confermano il momento creativo di Hauf, capace di mettere insieme il lato migliore dell'avanguardia europea ed americana.
La registrazione, raccolta e a volte quasi intimista, permette di ascoltare le evoluzioni delle ance anche nei momenti più riflessivi, senza che i tre percussionisti li sovrastino con tonnellate di decibel.
