Rob Mazurek: Milan
La natura totalmente improvvisata dell'opera (ma con strutture messe a punto all'impronta che denotano un intento narrativo/evolutivo/espositivo piuttosto chiaro, palpabile) è evidente fin dalle prime battute, fra rumorismi, interiezioni, sequenze più cantabili, alternanze suono/silenzio (o quasi, e comunque piuttosto episodico, quest'ultimo), segmenti in cui appare palese la volontà (la necessità?) dell'artista di riordinare le idee per ripartire verso nuovi orizzonti.
Come accennato, un processo di questo tipo si porta appresso anche qualche fase più statica, meno ispirata, magari un po' ripetitiva, ma l'immagine finale è comunque quella di un lavoro pieno, non raccogliticcio, una sorta di Mazurek mis à nu che ci permette di entrare—almeno questa è la sensazione—in contatto diretto con l'anima del performer, il suo sentire immediato, peraltro specchio di un ormai trentennale percorso artistico portato avanti senza risparmio né scelte particolarmente "riposanti."
