The original broadcasts of One Man's Jazz on Taint Radio happen about a month before they are posted on AAJ, so back in June I was excited as many others to play the only track we could from the new Evenings At The Village Gate: John Coltrane With Eric Dolphy. I suspect by now, that album has been dissected and explored by many people, but if you haven't and like Trane, do so. Also new and sampled in this edition of OMJ are new albums by Montreal pianist Francois Bourassa and his quartet, Swiss drummer Clemens Kuratle and his quintet (plus the group that preceded the quintet, Murmullo), German quartet Twirls, drummer Federico Isasti from Buenos Aires, and James Brandon Lewis hooked up with French electric bass magician Floy Krouchi on Cliffs. Found it on Bandcamp.
