Free Unfold Trio: Ballades
La musica sembra muoversi lungo una linea orizzontale che lascia aperta ai musicisti la possibilità di scegliere in che direzione spostarsi, nel caso volessero... Un disorientamento voluto, un modo di usare gli strumenti che lascia una traccia sull'ascoltatore. Troviamo idee espresse per bozzetti, ci sono momenti in cui l'aria stagna, altri in cui una salutare ventata d'aria lascia intravedere una direzione, subito dopo negata. La batteria ed il contrabbasso stanno al gioco, in un continuo galleggiare al di sopra di un possibile gorgo. Che comunque non arriva ad inghiottire nessuno dei tre.
A momenti si respira un'intensa poesia, altrove potrebbe regnare la noia, se non fosse per la brevità dell'incisione, che così appare compatta abbastanza per reggere l'ascolto.
