Grünes Blatt: Thirteen Ways
I climi tendono alla pacatezza e alla riflessività, raffinati e spesso sognanti (qua e là quasi attoniti), non disdegnando quel quid sperimentale (in "Cine iubeste si lasa," "Interlude" e "Postlude," per esempio) che dota il tutto di una freccia in più. Colpiscono, ancora, la solennità lieve di "Doina de Maria Lataretu" e "Seven Variations of a Christmas Song," probabile vertice del lavoro insieme con l'ampio "Leagana-se frunza-n soare," di delicata evocatività, il piglio ritmico (non senza qualche salutare intemperanza) di "Horea frunzei verzi," laddove "Rêve sans fin / ni trêve à rien" ha la fragranza del divertissement cameristico, e "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird" chiude il tutto nel segno del song (o lì nei pressi).
Alla fin fine un disco di sicuro spessore, traguardo raggiunto principalmente attraverso il lavoro di scavo, di spogliamento e di cesello.
