A rendere imprevedibile il percorso proposto concorre una mirabile ricchezza fraseologica e di accenti, sostanziata dalla magica carica magnetica dello swing jazzistico. Quanto alle brevi improvvisazioni, queste dispiegano un fascino ammaliante al quale è difficile sottrarsi. Le sostanziano cadenze policentriche, aventi come fine rivoli sospesi carichi di mistero. Altrettanto imperdibile risulta il DVD allegato, dove il pianista spiega analiticamente i segreti della sua arte, per poi ripercorrere le tappe più significative della sua carriera artistica. Ibrahim riesce come pochi altri jazzisti contemporanei a sostenere la sua progettualità musicale con la sincerità e l'eccellenza dell'ispirazione. Un'ultima annotazione: l'album è stato registrato presso la sala concerti della Fazioli a Sacile, e beneficia della qualità dello strumento messo a disposizione dalla ditta di pianoforti italiana.
