Mattia Salvadori, born in 1991 in Pontedera (Pisa, Italy). He has collaborated and played with different formations and he had the opportunity to expand his language by playing various genres as rhythm'n'blues, soul, blues, rock'n'roll, swing, folk, pop, jazz, surf rock, funk, house, edm, hip hop in many venues, festivals and squares both in Italy and abroad. He has been playing since 2010 with "Borrkia Big Band" (rock'n'roll, blues, soul) since 2015 with "Fuochi di Paglia" (songwriting, swing) and with "Zoostaff Live" (house, edm). He has studied with musicians like Fabrizio Bosso, Antonio Sanchez, Tom Harrell, Adam Cruz, Ugonna Okegwo, Danny Grissett, Steve Herrman, Charlie Wood, Sax Gordon, Fabio Morgera, Tony Cattano, Aldo Bassi, Alberto Marsico, Fabio Zeppetella, Manolo Nardi. He shared the stage with: Bandabardò, Sax Gordon, Igor Prado, Yuri Prado, Raphael Wressnig, Il Maniscalco Maldestro. Umberto Tricca

Umberto Tricca was born in Vimercate (Me) in 1973. He studied jazz guitar in Milan at the “Cemm” school directed by Walter Donatiello and Berklee’s School teachers. Over the years he studied jazz harmony, composition and arrangement with Giovanni Tommaso, Giancarlo Boselli, Stephen Franceschini, Tomaso Lama, John Abercrombie, David Linx and Paul Fresu at Nuoro Jazz. He shared his research and study of contemporary artists such as Dave Holland and Steve Coleman with some musicians of the the Florentine scene, examinating harmony and rhythmic aspects. He took part in different musical projects: The Dotters (Claudio Giovagnoli, Peter Spitilli, Stephen Tamborrino) in which he faced the contemporary jazz repertoire; A.G.U.A

He started to play electric bass at the age of 15, after had seen Ron Gallagher great concert at Astra Cinema, and after thought that the bass had a minor number of chords than the guitar and it means that he didn’t have to work hard. The history teached him that he was wrong. Thereafter he started to play double bass at Parma Lorenzo Cuneo Jazz School, one of the first jazzy school in Italy. He continued to study attending much workshop with Bruno Tommaso and Furio Di Castri. In 1986 he attended Boston Berklee College of Music studying with John Repucci. Compositore, chitarrista, cantante iscritto alla SIAE sin dal '90. Attualmente compone ed arrangia i propri brani scrivendo tutte le parti strumentali (contrabbasso, piano, strumenti a fiato e quant'altro).
Inizia a suonare sin da piccolo formandosi sulla chitarra classica come autoditatta e sviluppando uno stile ed un tocco personali. Poco interessato all'aspetto puramente performativo inizia ben presto a comporre materiale proprio sia sulla chitarra che su una pianola elettrica sostanzialmente blues, soul, bossanova e canzoni jazz.
Crea la prima band a 22 anni ma dedica del tempo a imparare la scrittura musicale per iscriversi alla SIAE e proteggere i propri brani.
Negli anni 90 crea il proprio sistema midi che gli consente di sviluppare le proprie doti di arrangiatore.
Inizia a pubblicare nei primi anni 2000. Nel 2005 Fonda i Flying Cats con cui arriva alla finale del Pistoia Blues In.
Nel 2008 acquista un basso semiacustico che usa soprattutto nelle registrazioni in studio.
