L'incontro infatti tra un drumming così colorato e ipnotico e le suggestioni elettroniche genera ancora una volta un seducente ambiente di onirismo ritmico, mai invasivo e al tempo stesso declinato su sentieri più alti rispetto al semplice suono d'ambiente. Sei tracce, quattro delle quali hanno una buona decina di minuti per srotolarsi con la dovuta pigrizia, che esplorano un'interazione sottopelle, vibrante come un richiamo ancestrale distante, portato dal vento, pieno di accenti melanconici rappresi attorno a un pattern dei tamburi.
Con il contributo di ospiti come Joseph Suchy e Tim Motzer [chitarre] o Hayden Chisholm a flauto e sax, il post-dub organico e quotidiano della coppia Friedman & Liebezeit riesce nella non facile impresa di ammaliare con sottigliezza. La formula è ormai definita, le energie sempre rinnovabili!
