Questo album non è recentissimo ed è stato registrato nel 2005 ma i misteri della distribuzione discografica lo hanno fatto emergere solo ora dalle nostre parti. Stephan Crump è un ottimo bassista ben noto sulla scena downtown di New York, affiancato in questa sorta di string trio da due chitarristi interessanti come Liberty Ellman (lo ricordiamo nel gruppo di Henry Threadgill e in altri meritevoli progetti) e Jamie Fox.

La musica è pacata e riflessiva, perfetta colonna sonora per una passeggiata in riva al lago durante i mesi primaverili o autunnali. Le due chitarre ricamano arpeggi e piccole melodie che si attorcigliano sulla pianta centrale solida e robusta fornita dalle belle linee rotonde del contrabbasso di Crump.

Spesso emergono derive folk e pedali che sorreggono elegantemente l'improvvisazione, il clima generale è pieno di pace e serenità, onestà e gentilezza. La registrazione è stata fatta informalmente, a casa di Crump, senza troppe pretese, ma la presa di suono è eccellente e la chimica che si è venuta a formare fra questi tre musicisti è degna di nota.
