Alfonso Santimone - Alessandro Fedrigo: Resonance Surfers
Il progetto Klan.G nasce diversi anni orsono, interagendo anche con altri musicisti e con artisti visuali, e ha già il suo programma nella divertita ambivalenza del nome: Klang in tedesco significa suono, ma nelle intenzioni del duo anche "clan del punto G," cioè il punto G del suono che viene costantemente stimolato dalle loro performance.
La "stimolazione" avviene in verità con ogni genere di gioco "erotico-sonoro," giacché i due protagonisti non utilizzano i loro strumenti in modo convenzionale, bensì come spunti di suoni da rielaborare elettronicamente, rumori ai quali rispondere con altri rumori, improvvisando - o, meglio, surfando - sul suono.
Il risultato è un album atipico e curioso, compatto e coerente ma al tempo stesso ben diversificato nelle atmosfere, perlopiù rarefatte e sospese (in particolare le più lunghe, veri percorsi sonori), ma talora ossessivamente frastornanti ("La Grand Gragnuole"). Un lavoro di ricerca, tipico di nBn, da ascoltare con attenzione.
