Anna Estrada: Obsesion
L'impostazione della voce appare piuttosto tradizionale, più vicina a modelli brasiliani di parecchi anni fa che non alle recenti esplosioni in avanti di Marisa Monte, Cibelle e Ceù. Anche l'impianto strumentale è convenzionale, dolce e mai aggressivo, modellato su stilemi jazzistici ormai consolidati.
In questo contesto si fanno comunque notare la chitarra di Ray Scott, elegante e ritmicamente adeguata e l'armonica di Damien Masterson. Piccoli sprazzi di luce in arrangiamenti mai sorprendenti che sanno dondolare con grazia, come se il tutto si svolgesse sul ponte di una nave impegnata in una crociera ai Caraibi. Portatevi una giacca bianca e gli occhiali da sole.
