"On Green Dolphin Street" apre la sequenza di pagine memorabili, dove la narrazione appassionante del pianista franco-algerino si traduce in una musica incandescente e muscolosa. È l'ennesimo esito sublime di un magistero dal non comune rigore stilistico, che ha presupposto un costante percorso di ridefinizione.

Ne vien fuori un disco esemplare, in cui la formidabile intensità esecutiva si mescola felicemente alla ricerca timbrica e coloristica.
