Omar Sosa: Calma
Tredici passaggi che compenetrano l'uno dentro l'altro, in una sorta di viaggio nei silenzi, nella riflessione e nella tranquillità estrema. Passaggi che si rifanno a forme classicheggianti, pronti nel ribadire un'introspezione che va al di là della semplice messa in scena di tecnicismi e inutili orpelli. Linee scarne di pianoforte - con l'aggiunta discreta di suoni campionati e di piano elettrico - che descrivono situazioni immaginabili, scenari di profonda intimità, caratterizzati da melodie levigate, che quasi mai vengono interrotte da tensioni e strappi narrativi, riuscendo nel loro insieme a formare una specie di onda continua che avvolge e culla, ammalia e conforta.
Lavoro dal forte appeal - dedicato alla moglie Montse - e dalla grande raffinatezza esecutiva, curato nel dettaglio timbrico, scuro e riflessivo, che riesce a sprigionare emozioni proprio per il suo incedere educato e senza chiasso, sedimentandosi con estrema calma, proprio come è suggerito dal titolo.
