Masashi Harada Trio: Breath, Gesture - Abstract Opera
In quest'opera immaginaria, noire e angosciata, il prim'attore (Harada) tenta di disegnare un suo volto musicale autonomo, fatto di suoni cupi e terragni, di soluzioni certo non di "primo ascolto," costruito con assoli "stretti," compressi sviluppato con armonie inusuali, di grande ricercatezza. Miglior attore non protagonista, il theremin, antico marchingegno elettronico con il quale (usando le mani ma senza toccarlo) si dosa l'altezza e l'ampiezza del suono. Gli immaginifici bordoni che riesce a creare danno compattezza alla musica. Inusuale nelle free improvisations.
Su tutto si muove la voce un po' sforzata, rauca e sussurrata dello stesso Harada e di Glynis Lomon.
