Il discorso complessivo dell'album, del resto, è di una coerenza stringente, sempre come a mezza voce, senza eccessi verso l'alto e invece un'estrema attenzione per i dettagli più minuti, fino a generare, talvolta, anche un lievissimo senso di eccessiva uniformità. Che non è poi neppure quel gran limite, in realtà, soprattutto tenendo conto della magia generata dal gioco fra corde e vibrafono, timbricamente compatto ma al tempo stesso felicemente sfrangiato, col sax alto che s'insinua in questa sorta di monade con estrema pertinenza e discrezione, sia quantitativa che per apertura delle proprie ali. Un disco, lo dicevamo, di rara coerenza intestina.
