La prestigiosa fondazione MacArthur ha da poco assegnato la prestigiosa 'genius grant' a John Zorn (e Regina Carter), a riconoscimento della sua geniale vena compositiva ed artistica e del suo potenziale creativo per i prossimi anni.

La fondazione versera' per i prossimi cinque anni 100.000 dollari al musicista New Yorchese, che - siamo certi - li utilizzera' per dare vita a numerosi altri progetti discografici.

Su questo numero la recensione di alcuni recenti lavori che si aggiungo alla gia' sterminata discografia zorniana: Filmworks XVII & XVIII, Zuflucht In Shanghai e Orobas (in collaborazione con Koby Israelite).
