Da un lato apprezzavo il desiderio di portare una ventata di libertà e di "rivoluzione" nella società borghese, ma dall'altro non riuscivo ad accettare la loro ammirazione per dittatori comunisti come Mao.
Un'istanza importante era il desiderio di trasformare il tempo lavorativo in tempo libero e viceversa. Non male, no?
Che in fondo è quello che fanno normalmente gli artisti freelance.
Ma se, come artista, avevi a che fare con un sessantottino, allora ti rendevi conto molto presto che l'arte aveva un'unica funzione: essere strumentalizzata dalla propaganda politica.
Quindi il mio atteggiamento era (ed è tuttora) scettico e cauto.
Magari è una cosa legata anche all'età. Ero un po' più giovane del tipico sessantottino. Il mio interesse nelle ideologie politiche era limitato. Ero (e sono) una persona più interessata all'estetica.
