Joel Miller: Tantramar
Niente è affidato al caso e le linee dei due sassofoni e della tromba si intrecciano in situazioni apparentemente complicate esprimendo la propria voce individuali, molto calde, accompagnate da Kenny Bibace che alla chitarra acustica o elettrica aggiunge colori folk o rockeggianti a seconda delle situazioni.
È così che un brano dopo l'altro si resta conquistati da un album che ha un fascino che lo mette in evidenza rispetto a proposte simili, sie per il complicato lavoro di arrangiamento che per le qualità dei solisti e che dimostra come sia possibile uscire dalle secche del mainstream contemporaneo quando si ha la visione giusta ed il tempo ed i musicisti adatti (da citare sono anche gli ospiti, oltre agli altri componenti del sestetto) per attuarla.
