Jamey Arent is a guitarist, songwriter, and singer based in Los Angeles, described by Guitar Player Magazine as "a stunning player straddling blues, jazz, and rock." Born in Denver, Jamey picked up the guitar at the of age 12, when he first heard the Beatles. After completing a degree in jazz studies from the Oberlin Conservatory, he moved to Los Angeles to get a master's degree in studio/jazz guitar from USC and begin his career as a gigging musician. Julian Hartwell

Born: September 12, 1989

Julian Hartwell is a sought-after jazz pianist, composer, bandleader, and educator based in Philadelphia, PA. Originally hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, for the past 18 years he has been performing throughout the Delaware Valley and beyond – making a name for himself and sharing his talents at jazz clubs to rock venues, high-class cocktail hours, local jam sessions and everything in between. In addition to an adjunct faculty role in the music department of his alma mater Temple University, some of Hartwell’s most recent career highlights include a solo performance at the Barnes Foundation presented through Philly Jazz Project, gracing the stage of the Media Theatre for the region’s inaugural TedX event, and performing as a sideman with Indian sitar and tabla virtuoso Ustad Shafaat Khan in his East Meets West fusion project

The Sol Roots band performs a mix of raw funk, deep blues, heartfelt jazz and R&B, greasy soul, and hypnotic rhythms. Sol is a guitarist and vocalist who has toured around the world with many musical legends.

Sol's talent stretches from fiery rock to laid-back jazz, and from funky innovative grooves to soulful ballads, always drawing on a deep background in blues.

Statik Link

Born: January 3, 1987

Hailing from the Midwest, Statik Link, crashed onto the scene in 2014 creating his own lane for his unique sound. A live instrumentalist and producer, Statik Link intricately blurs the line of Jazz, Funk, and Soul while remaining true to his own raw, uncut, gritty sound. Statik Link’s style has been compared to a mixture of artists such as Robert Glasper, J Dilla, Miles Davis, BadBadNotGood, and Kanye West.

Originally making his debut as an electronic dance producer, Statik Link switched to his current funk/soul/jazz based style in 2016. His music has been heard at festivals like Governors Ball in NYC, 808 Fest in Atlanta, EDC, and has been featured on Fox’s TV show So You Think You Can Dance, Sway In The Morning, Diplo and Friends, DASH Radio, Power 105 and more.

Scott Detweiler

Born: November 16, 1962

Scott Detweiler is an award winning American artist and actor, born and raised in New Orleans.  Over the course of his 30 (thirty) year career, his catalog of music has chronicled his evolution into a highly unique composer/performer, blending the styles of blues, funk, jazz, gospel & soul, but always rooted in the blues. 

His lyrics tell imaginatively woven stories that follow in the grand tradition of southern writers and classic lyricists.  He is a true son of the rich musical climate and one-of-a-kind culture that is the Crescent City. It is these influences that are in the soul of his creations and evident in his live performances, whether solo or backed by his band.
