Valentina Gramazio is a vocalist, author, producer and eclectic Italian artist. He collaborates with important musicians of the Italian and international Jazz scene (Giovanni Mazzarino, Flavio Boltro, Giuseppe Bellanca, Pasquale Fiore, Alex Orciari, Stjepko Gut and many others). He constantly performs in Jazz clubs, theaters and in Italian Jazz and author music festivals. The language of jazz has been the same since a child thanks to his father Domenico, a great passionate and talented amateur singer. Miles, Trane, Cannonball, Bird, the great swing orchestras, as well as the sacred monsters of vocal jazz like Sinatra, Ella, Sarah and "the other girls" are, through the vinyl, their teachers and lessons are held in the living room home

Renato Podestà

Born in Piacenza on August 7 1980, Renato Podestà started playing piano at age 8 and took up guitar at 12 years old, enamored by the first blues records he heard.

He has performed, live and in the recording studio, with Umberto Petrin, Hetty Kate, Tricia Boutté, Kay Foster Jackson, Shanna Waterstown, Mattia Cigalini, Alfredo Ferrario, Massimo Greco, Sandro Gibellini, Beppe Di Benedetto, Gianluca Di Ienno, Marco Micheli, Michael Supnick and Stefania Rava, and with pop artists Renzo Arbore and Nina Zilli.

In 2008 he cofounded the progressive swing band Sugarpie and the Candymen, where he has been working as a guitar player, arranger and vocalist. The band has recorded five albums so far, all for Italian indie label Irma Records, and has performed in jazz clubs e festivals around Europe, such as Umbria Jazz, Jazz Ascona, Madrid Jazz Festival, Offtown Festival (Istanbul), La Meridien Etoile (Paris) and many others, as well as several radio and TV shows in Italy, Switzerland and Poland.

Nato a Milano il 27/2/1959 a 14 anni il primo gruppo "Inferno Canto primo " principalmente basato su rock progressive e jazz rock in compagnia di Roberto Muru, Rosario Santagata e il compianto Paolo Davola. In quel particolare periodo (1975) rimasi molto affascinato da Giulio Capiozzo degli "Area" imitandone l'impostazione (per quello che mi era possibile) e mi appassionai allo studio dei ritmi pluricomposti per poi scoprire e andare a ricercare tutti i grandi batteristi del Jazz e della Fusion. Grazie all'amico Mauro Garavello ho cominciato a studiare al "Capolinea" con il maestro Enrico Lucchini leggenda nel campo della didattica musicale Jazz nazionale

A Sicilian pianist and composer, Rosario Di Rosa starts his studies as a self-taught musician at the age of sixteen, after dedicating his previous activities to design and painting. He undertakes the study of jazz piano as part of the “Brass Group”, together with Mauro Schiavone, a pianist and composer from Palermo. He continues his studies privately with Salvatore Bonafede, one of the most important national jazz musicians. He makes his debut professionally alongside the trumpet player Vito Giordano, joining his ensembles and performing his first concerts in clubs and at music festivals around Sicily

I am an italian musician with expertise in classical and jazz music as composer, arranger, conductor, double bass player, producer and educator. My musical education includes Specialist Certificate in Jazz Composition and Arranging (Berklee College of Music On-Line), MA in Double Bass (Italian Conservatory of Brescia) and BA in Electronic Composition (Italian Conservatory of Milano). Singer, composer and flutist, was born in 1961 in Milan, Italy, where he still lives.

Graduate at the Conservatoire “G. Verdi” (Milan, Italy), he was formed and matured in different musical areas as progressive rock, jazz, opera, ancient and contemporary music.

He dedicated himself to jazz and vocal improvisation studies, with artists such as: Maggie Nicols, Bob Stoloff, Jay Clayton, André Minvielle, Fabrizio Cassol.

He worked also as a socio-educationalist, singing teacher and chorister.

I've been studying drums since i was 14, playing on my bed listening to led zeppelin, toto and nirvana. Then i started studying with a local teacher, then i went to milan's cpm and accademia del suono schools and now i'm studying jazz in milan at the the claudio abbado music school under teacher tony arco. I've been playing live for 15 years now, mainly rock, progressive rock, aor, hard and heavy; my main band is king bong, an instrumental psychedelic trio but i'm doing a lot of gigs with my hammond trio pu.ra.ca. playing standards and wes montgomery songs from his hammond trio period. I also play piano, bass and sing and i'm a sound engineer with my own home studio so i've recorded a bunch of albums alone playing all instruments in various genres, from post-hardcore to ambient music.
