About Jayson Tipp

Jayson Tipp
Jayson Tipp is a contemporary jazz musician whose work reflects a deep respect for tradition alongside a restless curiosity for sonic exploration. Emerging from a background shaped by both formal study and hands-on performance, Tipp has developed a voice that is at once technically assured and emotionally resonant.
Raised in an environment where music served as both expression and discipline, Tipp gravitated early toward jazz’s rich vocabulary. Influenced by the lineage of improvisers who defined the genre’s evolution, he honed his craft through rigorous practice and collaboration, building a foundation rooted in swing, harmony, and rhythmic nuance. Over time, his playing expanded beyond strict idiomatic boundaries, incorporating elements of modern jazz, fusion, and subtle cross-genre textures.
About Duoya

Duoya
Duoya is the funky brainchild of Gustav Horneij and Dimitrios Karatzios. The two met through a shared obsession with jazz vinyl and later started jamming, eventually forming Organic Pulse Ensemble together. While that band in time would turn into a one man venture, their creative chemistry was still there when they decided to start sending recordings and song sketches back and forth during the spring of 2020. The resulting record is a socially distanced synthastic funk record. It draws from a wide variety of inspirations but mostly, it's based around the idea that anything goes as long as it's funky.

Ruud de Vries
Born:
Ruud de Vries is a jazz tenor saxophonist from the Netherlands, playing and recording many musical styles, though always recordings based on improvisation. When you look up his recordings on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon, or all other online music portals, you'll find traditional jazz, ballads, funk jazz, souljazz, latin jazz, afrobeat, calypso jazz, rhythm & blues, rock 'n roll, pop and 'DJ' dance music with sax improvisation. Ruud de Vries plays saxophone music without boundaries.
He bought his first saxophone when he was already 27 years old, after attending a performance of tenor saxophonist Hans Dulfer (the father of Candy Dulfer). He then knew he wanted to play the saxophone too. Not knowing anything about jazz and improvisation at that time didn't keep him from starting an instrumental band and perform right away. Ten years later he became a fulltime professional sax player after quitting his regular job.
