02. Dock Boggs - Before the Blues.
Amo il modo di suonare di Dock Boggs. Se si pensa che queste sono registrazioni del 1928 è incredibile come era innovativo. Suona fresco ancora oggi.
03. The Mickey Finn - Dudek! (El gallo rojo - 2006).
Zeno de Rossi mi ha dato una copia di questo CD e mi piace molto. Lo ascolto da un paio di mesi. Incredibile Enrico Terragnoli alla chitarra.
04. Marc Ribot - Saints (Atlantic - 2001).
Ascolto questo CD di Marc ciclicamente ogni tot di tempo. In questo disco si capiscono il suo suono e il suo approccio alla chitarra.
05. Fred Frith - Step Across the Border (Fred Records - 2003).
E’ la colonna sonora del pluripremiato film a lui dedicato. Un viaggio nelle sonorità di Frith con ospiti illustri.
06. Fabio Martini Circadiana - Clangori (Leo - 1998).
Uno dei miei CD preferiti in assoluto. L’ho riscoperto di recente.
07. Rob Price - At Sunset (Gutbrain - 2004).
Rob Price è un chitarrista newyorchese molto interessante che ho scoperto su i-tunes. Suona molto vintage con uno stile nei soli decisamente inusuale.
08. Pablo Casals - Bach: cello suites (Emi Classics - 2003).
Mi piace come le suona in modo romantico, a mio giudizio quasi esagerando. Però è come vorrei suonarle io se suonassi il violoncello.
09. Grinderman - Grinderman (Anti - 2007).
Adoro il suono di questo disco. Mi ha aperto nuovi orizzonti e mi ha ispirato molto.
10. Hank Garland - Move! The guitar artistry of Hank Garland (Euphoria Jazz - 2001)
Qualsiasi chitarrista che suona jazz dovrebbe ascoltare questo disco. E’ bello sentire i suoni e gli arrangiamenti per chitarra di Garland.
