Il gruppo SH.TG.N arriva dal Belgio con la sua miscela corrosiva di rock progressivo che si intreccia con influssi scuri e minacciosi che li portano a superare abbondantemente le porte degli Inferi. I loro testi, affidati alla voce ruvida ed evocativa di Fulco Ottervanger sono schegge di ghiaccio bollente che arrivano a toccarti il fondo dell'anima, sospinti da un impatto sonoro che sembra una vera e propria deflagrazione. Infatti la scelta dei cinque ragazzi che si fanno chiamare SH.TG.N (e suggeriscono di pronunciarlo Shotgun) è quella di suonare a volume sempre altissimo. Come faceva il Tony Williams Lifetime.

Il vibrafono zigzagante di Wim Segers si infila dappertutto e si intreccia con le rigogliose tastiere di Antoine Guenet e con la chitarra infuocata di Yannick De Pauw. Una triade pericolosa che non lascia nulla al caso e non fa prigionieri. Anche perché attorno a loro la terra brucia e il propellente vero viene gettato dalla ritmica impeccabile di Dries Geusens e di Simon Segers, rispettivamente al basso e alla batteria. Le esplosioni si succedono senza lasciarci tregua. Non serve chiudere le porte, la loro energia abbatte ogni barriera. Inarrestabili.
