1. Expansion Plans—We Need Your Help
With Jeff Rzepiela moving on after the New Year (Jeff and wife Leanne are expecting! Congratz, Jeff!), we must find at least one editor to help us prepare CD reviews. If you can help us find someone, please contact me. Our biggest challenge to date has been finding and keeping reliable editorial help, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated. We'll need someone for six months. 2. Welcome Aboard!
There are some brand new faces at AAJ and we are thrilled to have them on board. Please welcome Lawrence Peryer, Dave Wayne and Adriana Carcu.

5. Contributor-related Improvements
In addition to your profile pages and the CD cover art upload form, we also upgraded the Contributor Center and moved the various contributor report links (like "Top CD Reviewers") to the "All you need to know" dropdown box under "Join Our Staff."
6. Archiving Older Interviews and Columns
Super intern Mike Rubini has helped us top 12,000 Twitter followers and has built a new Facebook page. Mike is now hard at work helping us archive some of our pre-database interviews from 1999-2002. In case you missed it, read Mark Corroto's classic 2002 interview with Branford Marsalis.
7. Feedback wanted: How are we doing?
We're completely re-engineering our technical platform to improve AAJ and to support our future jazznearyou.com website. With significant changes behind us and with more on the way, I'd love to get your feedback on our recent improvements as well as changes you would like to see us make in the future.
