Roberto Domeniconi Vierklang: Raumzeit

In "Magnetisces Moment," "Campo di anime" e "Raumzeit" sembra aleggiare il fantasma del Miles Davis di "Ascenseur pour l'échafaud ". Atmosfere notturne, claustrofobiche, melanconiche, con il suono della tromba che carica il silenzio di ammalianti suggestioni. "Music Fur Astronauten" ricorda invece il post-bop atipico, anticonvenzionale, ritmicamente libero di Woody Shaw, con la tromba brillante di Peter Schaerli in bella evidenza.

Il resto è libera improvvisazione di stampo cameristico espressa da brani anche brevissimi e sublimata nei dieci minuti di "Die uberwindung der schwerkraft". Una sorta di minimalismo sonoro che gioca a nascondino con dinamiche e manifestazioni timbriche, che a volte sembra raccontare ossessioni quotidiane attraverso gangli nervosi sempre sul punto di collassare, altre volte si rasserena grazie al pianismo impregnato di echi euro colti, avanguardia e idioma jazzistico di Domeniconi.

Questa antitesi con il lirismo davisiano presente negli altri brani, caratterizza positivamente Raumzeit, registrazione live risalente al 2005 nella quale il quartetto svizzero dà buona prova di sé, muovendosi con disinvoltura e personalità tra composizioni tutt'altro che banali e dinamiche esecutive lucide e rigorose.
