Laut & Luise: Open That Door
La musica che propongono è quella classica del duo pianoforte-ance (occasionalmente allargato a musicisti ospiti). Jazz da camera, nella sua accezione più classica. Musica malinconica, molto melodica ed introspettiva, a volte piena di reminiscenze classiche. Ed anche se, alla lunga, tutta questa introspezione rischia di scivolare nella noia, ci sembra che il registro malinconico sia quello nel quale Laut & Luise danno il meglio. Gli sporadici tentativi di movimentare il tutto risultano un po' goffi. La quarta traccia, ad esempio, è una brutta copia degli Area e delle scorribande sulla tastiera di Patrizio Fariselli, con qualche decennio di ritardo.
Intendiamoci: ogni brano, preso individualmente, risulta gradevole. Si tratta però di una musica non particolarmente originale, e che non regge ad un ascolto prolungato.
