Olavi Trio: Oh, la vie!
Per quanto riguarda la musica, procede generalmente quieta, riflessiva (anche cerebrale, a tratti), specie allorché tace il trombone (il che accade neanche così di rado), per il resto quasi fisiologico perno attorno a cui il trio ruota. Ovviamente basilare anche il ruolo del contrabbasso, in più frangenti archettato, e più ancora della batteria, che tende a praticare un libero deambulare capace di rendere tutto molto aperto, fecondo e non stereotipato, pur in presenza, qua e là, di episodiche fasi di lieve risacca creativa.
In definitiva un album di sicuro spessore che ci apre una finestra in più sul fascinoso universo del jazz scandinavo.
