Mohini Dey, Jeremy Green, Aurora Clara, Mike Murray, Evan Marien, Three Wise Monkeys and much more

New music this week comes from phenomenal bassist Mohini Dey, joined by drummer Roni Kaspi and Dennis Chambers, alongside Toronto guitarist Jeremy Green, and the outstanding pairing of m: Oz Noy and Nir Felder paying tribute to the late Pat Martino. From Madrid, Aurora Clara delivers evocative '70s-inspired fusion infused with world music influences, while Canadian guitarist Mike Murray brings powerful progressive jazz, and bassist Evan Marien teams up with drummer Dana Hawkins for some dynamic contemporary fusion. There's progressive experimental rock from Sydney's Three Wise Monkeys, and the unmistakable power and imagination of Tigran Hamasyan with his distinctive blend of jazz fusion and improvisation. We also revisit 1995 with Metro, honouring the late Chuck Loeb, before hearing guitarist Tim Miller with music influenced by the legendary Allan Holdsworth. From Puerto Rico, guitarist Jan Rivera joins forces with drummer Marco Minnemann and Bassist Mohini Dey, then a return to2001 with CAB, featuring Tony McAlpine and Bunny Brunel. Rounding out the program are jazz fusion legend Stanley Clarke with drummer Ronald Bruner Jr. , The The Trackers featuring Gary Husband & Alf Terje Hana featuring Gary Husband and Norwegian guitarist Alf Terje Hana, Transfusion from Art 'Spike' Schloemer, and then we close with the superb Brazilian guitarist Andre Nieri.
