Me lo ha regalato Veschi, produttore della Red, al Top Audio di Milano dove ho suonato a settembre 2006. Ha ragione, Pablo è proprio forte.
02. Franco Morone - Italian Fingerstyle Guitar - Popular songs and traditional dances (ACG - 2002).
L'ho acquistato direttamente da lui sentendolo suonare al "I° festival del Friuli della chitarra folk e acustica", dove mi sono esibito la stessa sera con il duo Jogo de Cordas insieme a Roberto Taufic. Franco è un grande. Grazie al suo tocco potrei ascoltarlo in eterno.
03. Luigi Attademo - Domenico Scarlatti: 12 Sonatas for Guitar (Niccolò - 1999).
Ho conosciuto Luigi personalmente. Questo suo disco fa sembrare che le sonate siano state pensate per chitarra, tanto bene sono state trascritte ed eseguite.
04. Ry Cooder - Get Rhythm (WB records - 1987).
Mi è stato dato in prestito da un allievo. Niente da fare: c'è qualcosa in più nei grandi musicisti di quel periodo.
05. 37° Zecchino d'oro: Antoniano 1994.
Lo conosco a memoria, non tanto perchè ho suonato le chitarre nel disco, così come Flavio Boltro la tromba nel '93, ma perchè mio figlio Adriano di 5 anni me lo richiede ogni volta che si siede in auto!
06. Maurice Ravel - Bolero: Radio Symphony Orchestra di Ljubljana, dir. Samo Hubad (De Agostini).
Lo faccio sentire ad Adriano dopo aver sentito il precedente!
07. Jimi Hendrix - South Saturn Delta (Universal - 1997).
Experience Hendrix, c’è bisogno di commenti?
08. Nat King Cole - Too Young (Pazzaz - 2005).
09. Jose Feliciano - Forever Gold Compilation.
E’ raro che ascolti musica vocale, ma il feeling e la passione, la classe e la forza dei due precedenti, se pur così distanti stilisticamente e forse nei contenuti, mi invoglia a "metterli su" molto volentieri.
10. Claudio Zanghieri - Envisions (Zak Productions - 2006).
Amico bassista e artista poco celebre, stupisce nella realizzazione di questo notevole lavoro che ascolto più volte volentieri (e questo mi capita molto raramente).
