Rodrigo Amado Motion Trio & Peter Evans: Live in Lisbon
Il dialogare è ora fitto ora più rilasciato, raccolto, astratto, anche se a prevalere, complessivamente, è un'affermatività densa e propositiva entro cui Peter Evans si muove con assoluta disinvoltura, adeguatamente fiancheggiato dal trio di Rodrigo Amado, il cui sax tenore tiene testa alla tromba, notoriamente iperattiva, del collega proponendo sempre almeno due vie di fuga, che la performance imbocca a intermittenza.
La musica corre via così senza intoppi, magari con qualche inevitabile ripetitività, ma sempre mostrando di sapere esattamente in che direzione—verso che punto—guardare, che è poi ciò che, in situazioni senza rete come questa (e come sempre più spesso se ne registrano), determina la statura degli improvvisatori messi a "cuocere" insieme.
Positiva performance, quindi, che conferma intanto la generosità con cui Evans sta amministrando questo suo momento magico, e poi la vitalità di scene fino a pochi anni fa decisamente periferiche come per esempio, appunto, quella lusitana.
