Stephan Micus: Inland Sea
Per questo nuovo Inland Sea, gli strumenti principali (che compaiono entrambi qui per la prima volta) sono balanzikom (sorta di liuto a 7 corde di nylon proveniente da una valle del Tajikistan) e nyckelharpa (strumento tradizionale svedese suonato con l'archetto, simile alla ghironda o hurdy-gurdy), già presenti insieme nel brano che apre il disco e in molti dei brani successivi in varie combinazioni anche con altri degli strumenti comunemente utilizzati da Micus come il flauto giapponese shakuhachi, vari tipi di cetra, e le chitarre acustiche, oltre alla voce che si appoggia a un linguaggio inventato.
Ancora una volta Micus ci invita ad accompagnarlo in un viaggio affascinante, alla scoperta di noi stessi e delle nostre radici più profonde attraverso i suoni. A noi non resta altro che lasciarci trasportare dalla sua musica, un'esperienza che chiunque dovrebbe fare almeno una volta.
