Timucin Sahin Quintet: Inherence
A partire dalle composizioni che combinano in modo sapiente scrittura (essenziale e aperta negli elementi base) e improvvisazione (che attinge da sollecitazioni le più disparate - dalla musica del sud dell'India al rock passando per Ornette) e le pulsazioni sempre vibranti della grande mela. Per continuare, come si diceva, con il suono della sua chitarra, elettrico certamente, ma capace di timbriche vicine alla pastosità acustica, così come a volte indefinibile nella tonalità. Il fraseggio poi procede a strappi, alternando note singole con accordi insoliti, e venendo a trovarsi di frequente in splendido contrasto con le sequenze dei fiati.
Intrigante.
