Eric Vloeimans - Gatecrash: Hyper
L'album, registrato dal vivo, trasmette dunque prima di tutto la gioia del fare musica insieme, a tratti si assapora quasi il gusto della jam session: atmosfere cariche di blues, il guizzo strumentale (la follia!) che scardina gli equilibri.
Vengono in mente, per sonorità ed atmosfere, i migliori album elettrici di Davis. Il paragone non appare affatto blasfemo. La band suona compatta, la direzione di Vloeimans ha un carattere deciso. E pur in assenza di progettualità, o di significativi elementi innovativi, l'album si rivela più che soddisfacente.
